I have two cats with very distinctive personalities. I found Mitts on a freecycle ad in July of 2006. She is a black and white tuxedo cat. The most beautiful baby girl ever. Fast forward to July 4th 2007. I went to my sisters house for a bbq. While there my brother talked me into taking a pretty little Manx kitten that someone had dumped at his house. I named her Piper and instantly fell in love with her. I thought it would be great for Mitts to have a sibling so this was a great deal for all of us. OH my how wrong I was. Piper tries sto kill Mitts every chance she sees her. It has been high drama from day one!!
I hired a dog trainer Becky Petrinovich she has a business by the name of Beyond Wits End, perfect as that is where i was with my grrrllls!! servicedogsamongus@yahoo.com
She came and worked with my grrrllls weekly to try to get them to interact. Mitts is so terrified of Piper and it upsets the whole family. Of course I tried to place Piper in another home as none of the rescue groups would take her because of her aggression towards other pets. The people brought her right back as she ran their dogs and cats off....
So we are all trying to get along.
